Of the patients I see, I would hazard a guess that between 60% and 80% of them have indications of gum problems. Of course, this isn't out of the ordinary since gum problems and disease is just a symptom that we are well on our way to getting old. Of course, this is something that should be expected. Now that we know about this problem, we should focus on knowing how we can decrease the problems caused by gum disease and delay its progress and isn't that what we want?
